Mobile Device Scheme

At Withington Girls' School every pupil is expected to bring their own laptop or tablet with them each and every day. However, these devices must meet certain requirements in order for our pupils to complete their classwork both in school and at home. 🏫🏡

Our mobile learning is centred around the Microsoft 365 platform (OneNote, Teams & OneDrive) and as such we provide pupils with a software licence to run all the Office applications they need. This licence is activated with their WGS email address and is valid for up to 5 devices, this means you do not need to purchase your own copy of Microsoft Office. 

This website is here, if necessary, to guide you through purchasing a new device and then installing the required software, to make sure it is ready for your first day! 👌🏼
